Bio:
photoProf. Tian-Ling Ren got his Ph.D. from Department of Modern Applied Physics of Tsinghua University in 1997. He has been full professor of Institute of Microelectronics of Tsinghua University since 2003. He was a visiting professor at Electrical Engineering Department of Stanford University from 2011 to 2012.
As the principal investigator, Prof. Ren has undertaken many key research projects such as Key Project of National Natural Science Foundation, National High Technology Program of Ministry of Science and Technology, etc. Prof. Ren’s research interest covers advanced micro- and nano- electronic devices and integrated systems, including 2D material based devices, novel memory technology, micro- and nano- sensors and systems, flexible devices and systems, etc. He has published more than 300 papers in international journals and conferences, and more than 50 patents.
Now, Prof. Ren also serves as Vice President of IEEE Electron Devices Society, IEEE Distinguished Lecturer, and editorial board member of IEEE Journal of Electron Devices Society.
