Bio:
Kyoko Namura is an assistant professor at Kyoto University. She had worked as a JSPS research fellow at Kyoto University from 2012 to 2015. She received her BS, MS, and PhD degrees in mechanical engineering from Kyoto University in 2010, 2012, and 2015, respectively. Her current research interests include the fabrication of nanostructured thin films and their photothermal, photoacoustic, photocatalytic, and thermal-radiative properties. Especially, she is interested in microbubble nucleation and microfluidic convection studied by photothermal heating of gold nanoisland film.
