Haixia(Alice) Zhang, Professor, Institute of Microelectronics, Peking University. Dr. Zhang received her Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology. After finishing her postdoctoral research at the Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, she joined the faculty of the Institute of Microelectronics in 2001. From 2004 to 2006, she was a visiting professor at the University of California, Davis/Berkeley and the Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Zhang is active in the field of micro and nanotechnologies with a focus on novel manufacturing and design techniques, especially micro energy devices and system since 2001. She is Editorial board member of IEEE-JMEMS, IEEE-TANO, Microsystems & Nanoengineering, IET MNL, etc. She is co-author of 208 peer-reviewed scientific publications and 8 books/book chapters, co-invented 32 patents (include 5 US patents). She served on the program committees of IEEE NEMS, IEEE Nano, Transducers, and MNE conferences. In particular he was General Chair for the IEEE NEMS 2016, Suzhou, and organizing chair of Transducers2011 Beijing. She is the chairs of IEEE NTC Beijing Chapter. She won National Invention Award of Science & Technology at 2006, Teaching Award at 2013, Geneva Invention Gold Medal at 2014.
