Bio:
Fangwei Ye graduated from Zhejiang Normal University with a BS in Physics in 2000, and received a PhD in Optics from the University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) in 2005. In 2005-2008, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at ICFO(The Institute of Photonic Sciences), Barcelona, Spain. From 2008-2010, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Physics Department of Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong, China. He is currently Full Professor as well as Distinguished Research Fellow in School of Physics and Astronomy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. His research interests include plasmonics, optical properties of linear and nonlinear micro- and nano-structures, and light propagation in linear and nonlinear photonic lattices.
